Council Supports Illegal Building Control in Flat Area

City Council Commission D supports Jakarta Provincial Government act in controlling illegal building in seven flat areas.

If this matter is anticipated early, I think controlling does not need to be done

Commission D Chairman, Iman Satria said, related department needs to act that way in order to realize orderly environment in Jakarta.

"We support it since it is done for people's sake. Hopefully there will be no illegal building again," he said, Thursday (9/28).

Council Wants Flat Integrated Market to Be Realized

Another Commission D Member, Bestari Barus added, illegal building controlling needs to be done thus the land can be used for public facilities and be useful for many people.

"Because it is illegal, it needs to be controlled. Maybe the land can be used to build public facilities," he stated.

He also suggested Jakarta Government to anticipate illegal building thus it will not appear in flat areas.

"If this matter is anticipated early, I think controlling does not need to be done," he closed.
